Product · Elang Human Resource (Elang HR)

Attendance, leave, and payroll — they stop at one system.

Elang Human Resource (“Elang HR”) connects the face tap at the door to the payroll journal in your books: shifts & attendance recaps, leave and overtime with approvals, staff loans, payslips with BPJS and income tax, religious bonuses, and annual tax slips. Staff file their own requests from their phone. We set it up & maintain it on your own server; your data, exportable anytime.

The HR Workload

The same number, typed three times

In most companies arrival times are copied from the machine into a spreadsheet, leave balances live in another file, everything is retyped when payslips are made — and typed once more when accounting journals it. Every copy is a fresh chance for a typo that only surfaces when an employee complains. Elang HR breaks that chain: one face tap is enough, and the rest flows all the way to the ledger.

What Makes It Different
📚
Payroll becomes journals, not an export file

A posted payslip creates journal entries in the ledger right away — payroll expense, income-tax payable, and BPJS contributions. Accounting reviews instead of retyping from a spreadsheet.

🇮🇩
Indonesian rules kept as data

Tax-free thresholds, tax brackets, the effective monthly rates, BPJS rates, and overtime multipliers live as data you can inspect and update — not numbers frozen inside the code.

📱
Requests leave the WhatsApp group

Staff file leave, overtime, and loan requests from their phone; their supervisor approves from theirs. HR stops being a re-typist.

One Month, End to End

The four stages usually retyped by hand — here they connect themselves

Data is born once at the attendance machine, then flows into recaps, requests, payslips, and the books without a detour through Excel.

🙂

Attendance

  1. Face tap at the machine
  2. Matched to the shift schedule
  3. Lateness & absence counted
  4. Monthly recap

Including overnight shifts and the lateness tolerance your policy sets.

📝

Requests

  1. Staff file from their phone
  2. Supervisor / HR approves
  3. Balance & attendance update
  4. The amount is locked

Approved leave is written into attendance immediately; cancel it and the balance returns.

💵

Payroll

  1. Generate one period
  2. BPJS & income tax automatic
  3. Fix it while it is a draft
  4. Print the PDF

Overtime, loan instalments, late fines, and mid-month proration are already included.

📊

Bookkeeping

  1. Post the payslip
  2. A draft journal appears
  3. Accounting reviews it
  4. It lands in the ledger

Your own account codes are used, so entries fall into the right accounts.

Modules

As complete as an HRIS, as close as your ledger

🪪

Employee Records

  • Personal data, dependants & emergency contacts
  • Digital documents (ID, tax card, diplomas, certificates) with expiry dates
  • Fixed-term contracts with reminders before they run out
  • Position history, transfers & onboarding/offboarding checklists
  • Recycle bin: deleted records can be restored
🙂

Face-Machine Attendance

  • Taps from the face machine reach the server in real time
  • The employee’s profile photo is used to enrol their face
  • New and deactivated staff sync automatically to every machine
  • Sync the clock, pull missed taps, re-sync a replacement machine
  • Machines are tagged per branch, so the tap location is recorded

Shifts, Holidays & Recaps

  • Schedule groups with one to many shifts, including overnight shifts
  • Lateness tolerance & clock-out cutoff as settings, not code
  • Indonesian public-holiday calendar + joint leave & company holidays
  • Monthly recap: present, late, permitted, sick, leave, holiday, absent, no clock-out
  • Manual corrections for forgotten taps — with a record of who corrected them
🌴

Leave & Permits

  • Define your own leave types: paid, deducts quota, requires an attachment
  • Annual quota generated automatically, prorated, carried over and expired
  • Requests by date range — holidays are skipped automatically
  • Approval by the direct supervisor or HR, with a required rejection reason
  • Team calendar: who is off when, so leave doesn’t pile up on one day
⏱️

Overtime & Staff Loans

  • Overtime multipliers follow the Indonesian regulation — stored as editable data
  • A “from attendance” button fills the hours from that day’s extra taps
  • Daily & weekly hour caps; the amount is locked once approved
  • Staff loans: credit limit, tenor, and an automatic instalment schedule
  • Instalments deduct from the payslip; disbursement & settlement are journaled
💵

Payslips, BPJS & Income Tax

  • Allowance/deduction components, monthly or per day present (meal & transport)
  • Late fines, absence deductions, and unpaid-leave deductions follow your policy
  • Proration for staff who join or leave mid-month
  • BPJS health & employment: employer vs employee share, wage ceilings
  • PPh 21 with the effective monthly rates + December recalculation, PDF payslip
🎁

Bonuses & Annual Tax Slips

  • Religious bonus (THR) & bonuses get their own payslip, separate from monthly pay
  • THR prorated by length of service; bonuses as an amount or a multiple of wages
  • Taxed as irregular income, the way the rules require
  • Annual PPh 21 withholding slips (1721-A1) issued in bulk per year
  • Corrections get their own numbering; staff download theirs from the portal
📊

Reports & Bookkeeping

  • Seven reports ready to download as Excel: attendance, lateness, payroll, overtime, leave, loans, staff
  • Money columns stay numbers — whoever receives the file can just sum them
  • Payroll journals appear as drafts, posted once accounting has reviewed them
  • General journal & ledger inside the same application
  • Multi-branch, with per-menu permissions for each role

Built for Indonesian Rules

Written for the rules here, not translated from elsewhere

The numbers that change most often are stored as data you can inspect and update — not embedded in the code.

🧾

PPh 21 effective rates (TER)

Monthly withholding follows the current regulation, with the rate category derived from the employee’s tax status, then reconciled in December. Annual 1721-A1 slips can be issued in bulk.

🛡️

BPJS with wage ceilings

Five programmes with their own employer/employee shares and wage ceilings. The employer share is booked as an expense, the employee share reduces take-home pay.

🌴

Statutory leave

Twelve working days a year as the starting point, prorated for staff under a year, carried over with an expiry — all adjustable to your own policy.

🎁

Overtime & religious bonus

Overtime multipliers follow the manpower regulation; the religious bonus is prorated by length of service and taxed as irregular income.

Best Fit

Built for companies like these

  • Retail, F&B, and service businesses with dozens to hundreds of staff across branches
  • Companies still tracking leave balances, overtime, and staff loans in spreadsheets
  • Teams that already have (or plan to install) a face-attendance machine
  • Owners who want payroll to land in the books instead of being retyped by accounting
  • Anyone reluctant to pay per employee per month once headcount grows
FAQ

Frequently asked

How is this different from a subscription HRIS?+

Three things. Cost: a fixed monthly fee (server rental + maintenance) rather than a per-employee charge that climbs with headcount. Bookkeeping: a posted payslip creates journal entries in the ledger of the same application — not an export file you import into separate accounting software. Data: everything, including the raw taps from the attendance machine, is stored on your own server and can be exported anytime.

Do we need Elang ERP POS first?+

No. Elang HR can stand alone with its own database, including a standard chart of accounts and its journals. If you already run Elang ERP POS or Elang Resto OS, the two can share one database and one login: one employee record, one set of financials. And if you add the ERP later, the HR system you are already running simply connects — no re-migration.

What attendance hardware does it support?+

Face-recognition machines that push data to a server. The machine is pointed at your server address, and taps arrive in real time and get matched to the shift schedule. Face enrolment uses the employee’s profile photo, so nobody has to queue in front of the device. You also get clock sync, a pull of missed taps if the server was down, and a full re-sync for a replacement machine. For now attendance runs through the machine — phone-based attendance with GPS and a selfie is not available yet.

How reliable are the tax and BPJS calculations?+

Income tax uses the effective monthly rates from the current regulation and is recalculated in December, while BPJS uses each programme’s percentage and wage ceiling. Every reference figure — tax-free thresholds, brackets, effective rates, BPJS rates — is stored as data you can open and adjust, because ceilings change yearly and the accident-insurance rate follows your risk class. Treat it as a calculation and printing aid that saves enormous time; the final filing stays your company’s responsibility, so review before you pay.

How do employees access it?+

Through a web portal designed for phone screens — nothing to install. Staff log in with their employee number and a PIN issued by HR, then change it on first login. From there they can see their attendance, remaining leave, file leave, overtime and loan requests, and download finalised payslips and their annual tax slip. Anyone marked as a supervisor can approve their team’s requests straight from their phone.

How do hosting & data ownership work?+

We set it up and fully maintain it on your own server (VPS) — server, security, updates, and backups are our job. The monthly fee is fixed (server rental + maintenance), not a per-user charge that balloons as you grow. Your HR data is yours and can be exported anytime.

What is not there yet?+

We would rather say it upfront. Not yet available, and queued for development: phone-based attendance (GPS + selfie) for field staff, automatic WhatsApp/email notifications, expense reimbursement requests, and bank transfer files for bulk salary payments. Recruitment (ATS), e-learning, and 360-degree performance reviews are deliberately out of scope — they are rarely used at the size of company we serve.
